THE GREATEST LOVE

Romans 5:12
[Death Through Adam, Life Through Christ]12Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned—

Romans 6:23
23For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 4:25
25He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.

John 3:15-17
15that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.
16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

The splendor of a King
Clothed in majesty
Let all the earth rejoice
All the earth rejoice

He wraps Himself in light
And darkness tries to hide
And trembles at His voice
Trembles at His voice

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

Age to age He stands
And time is in His hands
Beginning and the end

Skinned alive HELP!!!

***Just thought I should change the title from "Help the animals!!!" to this new title.

This is really shocking. If you have a fur item, have you ever wonder where it comes from? Original fur came from skinning animals to get their fur. Usually we all assume the animals are already dead when their fur is taken. But this is totally not the case in Chinese fur farms in China. They skinned the animals alive! I watched in horror and disgust on the video clip (below), while clenching my teeth and my whole body stiff with loathing sickness, I almost could not go through watching the first 30 seconds of the video. But the video is true. Imagine that happen to your pet. I have Jojo, my lovely dog. I can feel the pain those animals having to go through such excruciating pain. What they did is so cruel!!!!! It's so wrong!!!!! This is sin!!!!! Those people are really sick! They should be punished severely! How can they be so heartless. Animals has feelings too. God did not allow such cruelty to be done to any living thing.

Thank God, I do not own any fur items. Although not all fur farms done such unimaginable act but according to PETA, China supplies more than half of the finished fur garments. It is hard to know where the fur products come from because of the globalization of fur trade. Now I know why there is human activist who promotes anti-fur campaign and they rather go naked than wearing anything made from fur. Lets us all do our part to prevent such unimaginable cruelty by spreading the news to everyone we know and by NOT WEARING ANY FUR. If you can't love them, then at least don't be cruel to them.

WARNING: This video is not suitable for children.

Pledge to go fur-free at PETA.org

90/10 Principle

Human behavior is a grey area where no one could derive a definative answer as to why different people react a certant way in a same given situation. There may be some logical explaination as to why a person react in such a way but no one could actually give a 100% assumption that that person would always react the same way as always. Because human mind and behavior changes all the time. We can only derive whether the behavior is negative or postitive. Through my observations, I can see many of us always react in a negative way during difficult situation. Perhaps it's easier to give in to anger and negative emotions. But we always fail to notice that our negative behavior will in turn create more unnecessary problem after that. And that is partly because we likes to blame others for what had happen although it was not entirely their fault. It was only recently that I read an article forwarded by a friend about the "90/10 Principle" and it has opened up my perspective on how to make the best out of a difficult situation. The way we react to any situation is the main thing that changes everything. Read on......

Discover the 90/10 Principle.
It will change your life (at least the way you react to situations).

What is this principle? 10% of life is made up of what happens to you. 90% of life is decided by how you react.

What does this mean? We really have no control over 10% of what happens to us. We cannot stop the car from breaking down. The plane will be late arriving, which throws our whole schedule off. A driver may cut us off in traffic.

We have no control over this 10%. The other 90% is different. You determine the other 90%.

How? ……….By your reaction.

You cannot control a red light. But you can control your reaction. Don't let people fool you; YOU can control how you react.

Let's use an example.

You are eating breakfast with your family. Your daughter knocks over a cup of coffee
onto your business shirt. You have no control over what just happened.

What happens next will be determined by how you react.

You curse.

You harshly scold your daughter for knocking the cup over. She breaks down in tears. After scolding her, you turn to your spouse and criticize her for placing the cup too close to the edge of the table. A short verbal battle follows. You storm upstairs and change your shirt. Back downstairs, you find your daughter has been too busy crying to finish breakfast and get ready for school. She misses the bus.

Your spouse must leave immediately for work. You rush to the car and drive your daughter to school. Because you are late, you drive 40 miles an hour in a 30 mph speed limit.

After a 15-minute delay and throwing $60 traffic fine away, you arrive at school. Your daughter runs into the building without saying goodbye. After arriving at the office 20 minutes late, you find you forgot your briefcase. Your day has started terrible. As it continues, it seems to get worse and worse. You look forward to coming home.

When you arrive home, you find small wedge in your relationship with your spouse and daughter.

Why? …. Because of how you reacted in the morning.

Why did you have a bad day?

A) Did the coffee cause it?
B) Did your daughter cause it?
C) Did the policeman cause it?
D) Did you cause it?

The answer is “D".

You had no control over what happened with the coffee. How you reacted in those 5
seconds is what caused your bad day.

Here is what could have and should have happened.

Coffee splashes over you. Your daughter is about to cry. You gently say, "Its ok honey, you just need to be more careful next time". Grabbing a towel you rush upstairs. After grabbing a new shirt and your briefcase, you come back down in time to look through the window and see your child getting on the bus. She turns and waves. You arrive 5 minutes early and cheerfully greet the staff. Your boss comments on how good the day you are having.

Notice the difference?

Two different scenarios. Both started the same. Both ended different.

Why?

Because of how you REACTED.

You really do not have any control over 10% of what happens. The other 90% was determined by your reaction.

Here are some ways to apply the 90/10 principle. If someone says something negative about you, don't be a sponge. Let the attack roll off like water on glass. You don't have to let the negative comment affect you!

React properly and it will not ruin your day. A wrong reaction could result in losing a friend, being fired, getting stressed out etc.

How do you react if someone cuts you off in traffic? Do you lose your temper? Pound on the steering wheel? A friend of mine had the steering wheel fall off) Do you
curse? Does your blood pressure skyrocket? Do you try and bump them?

WHO CARES if you arrive ten seconds later at work? Why let the cars ruin your drive?

Remember the 90/10 principle, and do not worry about it.

You are told you lost your job.

Why lose sleep and get irritated? It will work out. Use your worrying energy and time into finding another job.

The plane is late; it is going to mangle your schedule for the day. Why take outpour frustration on the flight attendant? She has no control over what is going on.

Use your time to study, get to know the other passenger. Why get stressed out? It will just make things worse.

Now you know the 90-10 principle. Apply it and you will be amazed at the results. You will lose nothing if you try it. The 90-10 principle is incredible. Very few know and apply this principle.

The result?

Millions of people are suffering from undeserved stress, trials, problems and heartache. We all must understand and apply the 90/10 principle.

It CAN change your life!!!

Have a nice day!

Handmade Oyster Mee Sua

Today I had Taiwan food at a restaurant called Shihlin Snack at The Gardens Mid Valley. The restaurant located at LG floor, the area which connected Mid Valley Megamall's Center Court, LG floor to The Gardens Mid Valley. Err... does my description sounds too confusing? I hope not. Well, there is actually not much choice in the menu at Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks. There are only 4 types of food if I am not mistaken. I ordered the Handmade Oyster Mee Sua which tasted pretty good. Although the potion looks small because they are using a smaller size bowl compare to the conventional big soup bowl we use to have when eating noodles, it does fills up my stomach just right. It has a starchy soup base like Shark Fin's soup. There are a few big chunks of oysters and some shredded chicken meat with it. You can add in their special chili paste if you like, which I did. The green leaves thing on top of it, as in the picture is coriander leaves which I don't eat. What’s the price? RM6 per bowl. Well, maybe next time I'll try out some other food on their menu later.

The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray "Take only one. God is watching."
Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies.
A child had written a note, "Take all you want. God is watching the apples."

Raibow Love

When I was on my way to work early yesterday morning, I saw a rainbow. My mom purposely stop the car for me to snap the picture using my handphone. It has been a long time since I last saw a rainbow. It reminds me of why God created rainbow in the first place. Because we sin too much and unrepentant, God set a great flood to destroy all living things on earth. The rainbow is a sign of God's covenant with Noah that God promise will not use flood water to destroy all living things on earth again. Seeing the rainbow, it also reminds me of God's mercy and unfailing love. It gave us a security and assurance that He is a merciful God and He truly loves us. We should not keep on sinning and ignore God's help to save us from the consequences of sin. Repentance is the correct way that lead us to the right way.

Genesis 9:8-16 (NIV)

8 Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him: 9 "I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you 10 and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you—every living creature on earth. 11 I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth."

12 And God said, "This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: 13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. 16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth."

I bought a pair of new shoes yesterday at Metrojaya sales. It was my first pair of Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club shoes. I have been eyeing on their classy display of shoes design for quite some time but couldn't bring myself out for an impulse purchase. But now I finally own one and thanks to all that special discounts during the sale season. Moreover, I really need another pair of working cum outing shoes now to replace my pair of old rugged shoe. It only cost me RM39.95 for a pair of good shoes. Don't we all love sales? And, oh! I am wearing it to work today. Love it!

Why do people blog? Just like the usage of internet, the world of blogging has grown tremendously over the years. When you think of blogging, it is not just only a place where people write about thier personal things or journals, it's also a place where people share their knowledge and experience with each another. Sometimes we may even get to know some new friends through the blog sphere. And you might be surprised on how fast those hot and juicy news could travel out through blogs. Now that many know the benefits of blog, advertisers has been using this new means of reaching out to their customers using blog marketing strategies. By having this flow of "blog advertising" thing going, it also create an opportunity for bloggers to earn some income through their blog. It's a win-win situation. There are many companies or advertisers now looking into having bloggers create a buzz about what they are selling, services they offers, news, events or anything they want to send across to readers over the internet. And bloggers could look for those earning opportunities through services offered through the internet such as snapbomb.

Wonderful souvenirs

I have some wonderful colleagues who gave me those lovely souvenirs recently. The wooden shoe keychain is from KH who went to Melaka during the CNY holidays. It's unique in a sense that they use real shells which are very small in size and piece them up together to form a flowery shape. Another souvenir is from PYF who went to Bali, Indonesia for holiday. Those like the lovely drawing on the wooden shaped surfing board painted with a white background. Such nice colleagues I have here, eh? Think had me thinking...... I have been working here for so many years but I have not given any souvenirs to anybody here. Well, that's because I have not been to anywhere other than sticking my butt to the shopping city where I stay.......

The most precious thing

Some people are not very blessed with a good life. Some people are constantly worried about when or how are they going to get even the most basic essential items for their daily needs. Some people might have been living in a wonderful life without the need to worry about anything. Some people do not need to go through hardship of getting enough food to feed their family. Some people might have been very blessed but they suddenly lost almost everything when their world come tumbling down just because that supporting person is not here anymore.

It doesn’t matter whether you are rich or poor, but what people needed most where money can’t give is love. But we are still living in this cruel world where we need to rely on some form of material things, food and water to survive. What happen when you are really in need of financial assistance? Even water doesn’t come free. Some people might resort to selling watches or antiques items the safe up enough fund to get themselves out of trouble. This is quite prominent during olden days where people sell of whatever valuable possession they have when they are in need of money. So do rich people auction off their assets when they goes bankrupt.

Sometimes people have no choice but to have to sell off their possession in times of needs. Those possessions can be very valuable and very memorable to the person. They might need to find the right jewelry consignment or diamond consignment when the time comes for them to say goodbye to their beloved possession. No matter how painful and how much emotional battle they need to go through, but it left them no other choice. But no matter what or how many precious possession we have lost, always remember that those things are only material things which can be bought, rebuilt or destroyed. But love is different. Love cannot be bought. It love is lost, it was not really love. It is not really love if it cannot mend back broken hearts. Therefore, love is the most precious thing and the greatest possession a person could have throughout eternity.
