My new office laptop!

I was on a short break from work since half day last thursday (clearing my year 2007 annual leave balance). When I came back to work today, viola! I got a new laptop (Latitude D630) to be use for work. This is in exchange for the work desktop PC that I was using that I was singing on my previous post. So, bye-bye to the (*quite new*) high-tech processing speed PC and 17" monitor.... I quite like using that desktop PC because of having the 17" monitor. Hahaha....

Well, now that I got a laptop to be used at work, I can also bring it home for use. I am delighted by the fact that it is portable and I can avoid working late at the office because I can continue working at home. While there is good thing having this laptop, there comes with bad point too. The bad thing is, my boss will not going to expect me to not able to accomplish my projects dateline on time and there are even more excuses that I should start working during the weekends for work unfinished. Anyhow, I am enjoying my new office laptop now. I think I'll get over with missing the 17" office monitor soon.

There is always pros and cons. Last time I used to be given a company laptop for work, looks like very advanced, but gotta work even during weekend! :( But the advantage is I don't need to buy my own laptop at home.

Ya, sometimes desktop not so painful to the eye with the bigger screen. But then, not portable. I think nowadays, most people prefer laptop. In HK, very few people still choose to buy a desktop.

osindak: You bet, I'm really having fun with it.

sting: Yes, it's hard to beat the 17" monitor especially having at work.

catherine: Oh! I was planning to by my own laptop too. But now I have a company laptop so it safe me some money too.

lemonjude: Yeah... it's tiring but that's the draw back of being given a company laptop to use although it comes with many good reason to have one.

tot's mom: Yes, you are right. Most people prefers laptop now. I am inclined to that too!
